Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering
About Our Programme |
Introduction |
The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering programme in NUS is a fusion of engineering with chemical sciences, life sciences and material sciences : A strong foundation in basic sciences, core chemical engineering subjects and optional specialisations (Biomolecular Engineering, Microelectronics Processing, Process Systems Engineering), the Undergraduate programme prepares students for a broad range of industries such as chemical, petroleum, petrochemicals, pharmaceutical/biomedical sciences, semiconductors and research. Our multifaceted education also aims to train students in solving challenging industrial and research problems. Upon successful completion of the course, students will earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2006, we have been accreditated by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) of UK (at their MEng level) and by Institute of Engineers, Engineers Accreditation Board of Singapore. |
