RESEARCH

Mixed Specifications in Pipeline Network

Solving pipeline network problems is essentially solving a set of equations. It will be an easy task if either the nodal flow or pressure is specified. However, when mixed specification occurs, i.e. a mixture of nodal flow and pressure is specified, the standard method will not be able to solve such a problem. This research attempts to study the method for solving mixed specification problems.

Steady and Transient Pipeline Network Analysis

This research involves the use of network analogy to simulate flows in pipeline network. The transformation theory is applied in this research for its flexibility and versatility. The theory may be extended easily to other transfer processes.
